Operation
Rising Tide is a group of Venturing and Sea Scout Schools including leadership,
advancement, socialization, specialty skills, and other knowledge & skill
bases associated with Sea Scouting and Venturing Programs. This knowledge &
skills base is demonstrated in competitions, contests and challenges that show
the application of the knowledge and skills in real and simulated experiences.
The ORT Activity has been presented in
different Areas with differing emphasis and venues but all have worked to
improve leadership and have a good time doing it. The friendships and
relationships between Ships, Venturing Crews, Sea Scouts, Venturers, Venturing
Advisors, and Sea Scouters have lasted for years and may last for a lifetime.
The ORT Activity has been a Central
Region activity since 1998. When we play the game we play to learn and raise
all Ships Venturing Crews, to a higher level of Venturing and Sea Scout
knowledge & skills. Call 309-755-3537 for more information and ask for Mac
